FAQ

Can I have the originals?

A. Unfortunately I don't sell / give my unedited images. For the following reasons:

• I only shoot RAW. The file sizes are extremely large compared to the JPEG format most people are used to. Majority of photographers out there only shoot in RAW format. We produce higher quality of images when we shoot in RAW.
• You hired me as your photographer so you must have liked my style. It is my duty as a photographer to choose the best shots I took of you that has the best composition, facial expression, light, clarity, etc.
• It's my artwork. We actually spend loads of time editing and choosing the best ones to give to our clients. We do this not only because we want you to have the best possible images, but also because our photos are an expression of who we are as artists and individuals.

When will my photos be ready?

A. As I am a solo photographer I do all the work myself. From correspondence, taking bookings, invoicing, taking the photos, set up the studio and hand edit all the photos you see on my website and social media.

All regular portrait photography such as Children, Couple, Family, Maternity will take an average of 2-3 weeks. However, during dry season and Christmas time will take 3 weeks & sometimes a little over due to the high volume of work.

Bigger events photography will need 3-4 weeks. As there will be lots of shots I have to individually go through and cull down before I pick which the best ones to edit.

Weddings will require even more time to go through and to work on so this can take between 4-6 weeks.

I do share 2-3 sneak peeks (previews) of your photoshoot within a week after your session with me. This will be done either privately or on my page or both. I will privately message/email you first. You can also share your sneak peaks with your family and friends.

Why do I have to pay deposit?

A. Your deposit is to secure your booked date.

Why do I have to pay in full before my booking?

A. You're paying for my service from the time you have secured and confirmed your time and date to the day of the session I'm already working.

What kind of gear do you use?

A. I use two canon cameras, EOS 5Ds & EOS 6D Mark II. Lenses: 17-40mm f/4 Ultrasonic, 24-70mm f/2.8 Ultrasonic, 50mm f/1.8, 50-200mm f/2.8 L IS II USM and Canon EF 100mm f2.8 L Macro IS USM.
